Project Manager,
Service & Small Projects

Position Summary

Arrow Builders is growing and looking to hire our first Project Manager for Service & Small Projects to manage ongoing service work and lead fast-paced, short-duration small projects.

As Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to help shape a growing part of the business and own the full lifecycle—pre-construction through closeout—while collaborating with clients and managing Arrow field crews, subcontractors, and industry consultants.

• Help shape Arrow Builders’ approach to managing ongoing service work in the field and executing small projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage routine and as-needed service work for established clients.

• Facilitate and manage design-related decisions on service and small projects; work directly with owners, coordinate with subcontractors, and engage stakeholders as-needed.

• Plan, sequence, and manage multiple short-duration projects at a time—define the scope of work, identify the appropriate resources, price the work, schedule construction, and deliver the work.

• Collaborate daily with clients, subcontractors, and Arrow’s team to keep projects aligned with expectations and moving efficiently.

• Administer project controls including budgets, change orders, subcontracts, RFIs, approvals, and job cost tracking.

• Oversee quality and closeout responsibilities including punch lists, documentation, hand-off, service, and maintenance.

• Model Arrow’s values of collaborative problem-solving, collective ownership, and team support.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in high-end residential construction (Service Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or similar).

• Confident communication—clear writer, confident speaker, and great at setting expectations and clarifying where there might be confusion.

• Operate independently with strong organizational skills, persistence in follow-up, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and tasks simultaneously.

• Proficient in MS Office, including spreadsheets and database applications; familiar with construction/project management software.

• Ability to read plans and construction documents.

• Ability to travel within San Francisco and Marin, and regularly to our Sausalito office.
